I’ve been replaying deltarune, in monster mode. I can’t stop thinking about snowgrave. I feel really bad. I just wanted to see what happens but I feel like I’ve made a terrible mistake....
dont do the weird route... you dont need to see what happens. it's not good. i know it's just a game but i still feel like i've done something reprehensible. Dont do it, just look it up on youtube if you really need to see what happens, but also don't do that. it's better if you dont ask what would happen if you were a bad person in deltarune.
=====i've been playing Arx Fatalis recently. it's pretty neat! I was worried it would be too much of like a clunky old PC game, but it's surprisingly modern feeling. I just need to figure out how to get to the fourth level so i can stop some cultists....
I really like the way things interact with one another. there's something special about combining flour and water to make dough, and watching it rise next to a campfire, or using a mortar and pestle to grind up some bones and then finding out you can put it on your sword to make it better. The combat isn't great, but it also doesnt feel like it needs to be anything more than it is? it's serviceable. The voice acting is really bad but in literally the best possible way. I love hearing my guy talk about shit in the most deadpan voice you can imagine, and then a goblin replies in The Most Goblin Voice you can think of. It's truly something special.
My biggest issue is that it's so easy to get lost, but I'm still having a good time and will definitely keep playing around with it. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if it sounds interesting to you!
